Water and Beverages

Keep in mind that every single chemical process in your body requires water. In order to lose weight and get healthy you must hydrate. Consume at least half of your body weight in ounces of water each day. For example a 120 pound person needs to drink 60 ounces of water daily; a 240 pound person needs to consume 120 ounces of water daily, etc. Consume clean, pure unadulterated water. You may also have green tea or herbal tea as long as it is decaffeinated. However, you will still need to meet your water requirement in addition to your alternative beverage.

Medications and Supplements

There are a variety of nutritional supplements as well as prescription medications that may be prescribed based on individual needs and medical necessity. When prescriptions are given make sure to follow the directions exactly as stated on the prescription label. Do not attempt to adjust your dosage. If you feel there is a dosage change needed, contact the office and we will schedule a phone call or a face to face meeting with the prescribing provider.
