As we all try to cope with the current state of affairs surrounding the COVID-19 PANDEMIC, we at KC Wellness Center are implementing all necessary precautions to protect the health of our patients and employees. We are going to remain open and available to take care of the needs of our existing patients as well as new patients. We are offering telemedicine services via Facetime, telephone calls and Zoom video calls for all new consultations as well as follow up visits. We are implementing these measures in an effort to follow the social distancing guidelines set forth by the CDC. If a face to face meeting is desired or necessary we will continue to accommodate our new and existing patients. We will require that the provider and patient wear a facemask and wash their hands before the encounter.
For patients that are on injection protocols: Self-administration training will be provided for those that can and are willing to self administer injections. We will preload and furnish “shot kits” which will contain everything you will need to self administer medications safely at home. If you are unable to self administer injections we will continue to administer those for you in the office and take the aforementioned precautions to protect you and our staff.
The staff at KC Wellness Center would like to express our sincere appreciation for your patronage. There has never been a more critical time to boost and maintain our health and vitality. Please heed the warnings and recommendations of health officials with regard to social distancing, travel and hand washing. We all hope this pandemic is behind us very soon and we can return to life as usual.
