Starting something new can be hard. To combat this, create a support group filled with people who want you to succeed and if they’re also knowledgeable about fitness, that’s even better! Go to lunch… or better yet cook a healthy dinner together while talking about your goals and learning from their experiences. Ask them how they got started on their fitness journey, how they have stayed in shape and their routine now.
Have a Plan
Sit down and write down your exact goals. Make sure they are realistic for where you are now in life. For example, If you want to lose 50 pounds, don’t give yourself only a month to do it. Instead, start out by aiming to lose 10 pounds during the first month of your new lifestyle. Check-in on your goals each week to reset your focus!
